about

A few cabins on Bowen Island for people who appreciate simple places, time outdoors, and days that feel a little different from the rest of the week.

Why Wildwood cabins exists

We didn't set out to build a destination. We set out to make it a little easier for people to spend a few days closer to nature. Cabins in the woods, enough space to cook a proper meal, and enough quiet to actually rest.

Bowen Island already does most of the work. Wildwood is just a good place to be while it does.

THE SPACE

A detailed, illustrated map of a park or outdoor area featuring walking paths, a pond with swim rings, trees, small buildings, and parking spaces.

The property is made up of four private cabins, each placed within the forest to offer a sense of distance and privacy. Paths connect the spaces naturally, without disrupting the landscape.

Shared elements, like the sauna and open areas, are designed to complement the experience rather than define it.

What's actually here

A few cabins among the trees. All you need to prepare a meal, not just reheat. A place to sit outside with a coffee and nowhere particular to be.

There isn't much to figure out once you arrive. Trails nearby. A short drive to the water. Time to slow down and let your head clear, at whatever pace that takes.

Who it's for

You don't need to already spend your weekends outdoors to feel at home here.

Some guests come to recharge after a full stretch of work. Some come to think something through. Some just want a few days where the schedule is theirs. Whatever brought you here, the island — and a bit of distance from routine — tends to do the same thing for most people.

Part of the island, not apart from it

We recommend the cafés and trails we actually use. Not because it's good marketing, but because that's what you do when you live somewhere and like it.

If a local business shows up on this site, it's because we'd send a friend there.

A place to spend a few days differently

That's really what this is about. Not a retreat. Not a getaway package. Just a few cabins, an island, and some time to slow down.
