These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Wildwood Cabins website and to direct bookings made through our booking platform.

By using this website or submitting a booking request, you agree to the terms below.

Bookings

Direct bookings for Wildwood Cabins are currently processed through Lodgify.

A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email.

Submitting payment details, completing a booking form, or receiving an automated message does not by itself guarantee that a reservation has been confirmed unless a confirmation email has been issued.

Guests are responsible for making sure the contact information provided during the booking process is accurate.

Booking confirmation

Once a booking has been confirmed, the confirmation email will include the main details of the reservation.

Guests should review the information carefully, including:

  • dates

  • cabin selected

  • number of guests

  • pricing

  • payment details

  • any applicable booking conditions

If anything is incorrect, please contact Wildwood Cabins as soon as possible.

Guest occupancy

Each cabin is intended for two guests.

Additional guests may be possible upon request.

Cabin 3 can accommodate up to six guests.

Any additional guests must be confirmed with Wildwood Cabins before arrival.

Changes to a confirmed booking

Wildwood Cabins does not normally change confirmed reservations.

In rare or exceptional circumstances, a change may be necessary due to situations affecting the property, availability, safety, operations, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If a change is required, Wildwood Cabins will contact the guest as soon as reasonably possible.

Confirmed bookings will not be changed without notice.

Where possible, we will work with the guest to find a reasonable alternative.

Guest-requested changes

If you need to change your booking, contact Wildwood Cabins as soon as possible.

Requests to change dates, cabin, guest numbers, or other booking details are subject to availability and may affect the booking price.

A requested change is not confirmed until Wildwood Cabins provides confirmation.

Cancellations

Cancellations are subject to the Wildwood Cabins Cancellation Policy in effect at the time of booking.

The applicable cancellation terms may also appear during the booking process or in your booking confirmation.

If a booking was made through Airbnb or another third-party platform, the cancellation terms of that platform and the specific reservation may apply.

Prices and payments

Prices shown on the website or booking platform may vary based on dates, length of stay, cabin, fees, taxes, or other booking details.

The total price displayed during the booking process should be reviewed before completing the reservation.

Payment processing may be handled by Lodgify or third-party payment providers.

Wildwood Cabins reserves the right to correct genuine pricing or technical errors before a booking is confirmed.

If an error affects an already confirmed reservation, we will contact the guest before making any change.

Pets

Dogs are welcome with prior approval.

The pet fee is $75 per dog, per stay.

Please include your dog when arranging the booking so the stay can be confirmed accordingly.

Property use

Guests are welcome to use the shared areas of the property, including:

  • trails

  • viewpoint areas

  • outdoor seating

  • firepit areas

  • BBQ areas

  • the wood-fired sauna

  • yoga spaces

Please use these areas responsibly and be respectful of other guests and neighbouring properties.

Wildwood is a forested property, so guests should expect uneven ground, roots, rocks, wet surfaces, and changing outdoor conditions.

Fire restrictions

Wildwood follows current fire restrictions posted by Bowen Island Municipality and the Province of British Columbia.

These restrictions may affect indoor and outdoor wood burning.

Guests must follow any active restrictions before using a woodstove or outdoor firepit.

The BBQ and wood-fired sauna remain available unless guests are specifically advised otherwise.

Sauna and BBQ use

The wood-fired sauna is available to Wildwood guests throughout their stay.

Please follow any instructions provided on site and leave the space ready for the next guests.

BBQ equipment should only be used in designated areas and must be fully turned off after use.

Parking

Parking is available on site.

Noise and consideration for others

Wildwood does not operate formal quiet hours.

Guests are expected to be mindful of other guests and neighbouring properties.

If an issue comes up during a stay, please contact Wildwood directly.

Events and gatherings

Weddings, retreats, photoshoots, commercial shoots, larger gatherings, and other special uses of the property must be arranged with Wildwood Cabins in advance.

A standard cabin reservation does not automatically include permission to host an event or organized gathering.

Ferry and transportation

Travel to Bowen Island depends on ferry and transportation services operated by third parties.

Wildwood Cabins is not responsible for ferry delays, missed sailings, traffic, public transit interruptions, or other transportation issues outside our control.

Guests should allow enough time for travel and check current ferry information before departure.

Third-party services and links

The Wildwood Cabins website may link to or rely on third-party services, including:

  • Lodgify

  • payment processors

  • BC Ferries

  • local transportation providers

  • local businesses

  • other external websites

Wildwood Cabins is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, policies, or services provided by third parties.

Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Website information

We try to keep the information on the Wildwood Cabins website accurate and current.

However, details such as availability, pricing, transportation, local services, amenities, or operating conditions may change.

Information on the website is provided for general information and does not replace the details contained in a confirmed booking.

Photos and descriptions

Photos, descriptions, layouts, and other materials on the website are intended to give a fair representation of Wildwood Cabins.

Small differences may occur over time due to maintenance, furniture changes, seasonal conditions, landscaping, or other updates.

Website use

Content on the Wildwood Cabins website, including text, photography, graphics, branding, and design, belongs to Wildwood Cabins or is used with permission unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without permission.

Liability

The version that applies to a booking will generally be the version in effect when the booking is confirmed, unless a change is required by law or agreed with the guest.
