A few days that feel a little different

Wildwood is a place to step out of the usual rhythm for a while.

Just a few cabins, a quiet piece of Bowen Island, and enough space to let the day unfold on its own.

What staying here feels like

The cabins give you a place to settle in, sleep well, make coffee, prepare a simple meal, and come back to after a day around the island.

Outside, there is room to sit, talk, read, wander, or spend an evening around the fire.

Some days are sunny. Some are wet and quiet. Some are spent exploring Bowen, and others barely leave the property.

That is part of it.

There is no pressure to make the most of every hour.

Simple, comfortable, and close to the outdoors.

comfortable, uncomplicated, and close to nature

Simple by design

The cabins are modest and considered, with the essentials you need for a comfortable stay and enough to prepare simple meals when you feel like staying in.

The rest of the experience happens around them.

In the trees. Around the fire. Over a slow breakfast. On a walk down the road. At the beach. Or somewhere on the island you did not plan to find.

It is an uncomplicated kind of stay, and we like it that way.

an island that invites a slower pace

Bowen Island is part of the experience

Getting here is part of what makes Wildwood feel removed from the city.

A short ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay brings you into Snug Cove, where the pace changes almost immediately.

From there, Bowen is easy to explore in small pieces.

Walk a trail. Find a beach. Stop somewhere for coffee or lunch. Spend time around the cove. Pick something up for dinner. Then head back to the cabins before it gets dark.

You do not need a long list of things to do.

Bowen works best when there is a little room left in the day.

Outdoor areas can be uneven and are part of the experience

for people who like simple places

Wildwood tends to suit people who enjoy being outside, appreciate a little quiet, and do not need everything programmed.

Couples come here for a weekend away.

Friends come to reconnect.

Some people spend most of their stay exploring Bowen. Others read, make a simple meal, sit outside, and barely go anywhere.

Stay a little longer

A few days on Bowen can feel surprisingly far from Vancouver.
