Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change.
For direct bookings made with Wildwood Cabins, the following cancellation terms apply unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
More than 30 days before check-in
Cancel more than 30 days before check-in and receive a full refund.
Between 7 and 30 days before check-in
Cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in and receive a 50% refund of the accommodation charges.
Any non-refundable payment-processing or booking fees, if applicable, may not be returned.
Less than 7 days before check-in
Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in are non-refundable.
Changes to your booking
If you need to change your dates, contact Wildwood Cabins as soon as possible.
Date changes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
Any change to the booking may also affect the total price.
A change is only confirmed once Wildwood Cabins has confirmed it by email.
No-shows and early departures
No refunds are provided for:
no-shows
late arrivals
early departures
unused nights after check-in
Cancellations by Wildwood Cabins
Wildwood Cabins does not normally cancel confirmed bookings.
In rare cases, a cancellation may be necessary due to safety concerns, property issues, severe weather, operational problems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If Wildwood Cabins needs to cancel a confirmed direct booking, we will contact you as soon as possible and provide a refund for any affected nights that cannot be accommodated.
Third-party bookings
If you booked through Airbnb or another third-party platform, the cancellation policy shown on that platform at the time of booking applies.
Please manage those cancellations directly through the platform where the reservation was made.
Refund timing
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method where possible.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Local time
Cancellation deadlines are based on the local time at Wildwood Cabins on Bowen Island, British Columbia.
